however certain critics review the art from the prism of their ideological biases – case in point – five star reviews of Mulk, and two stars reviews of Gold ….

Alternate viewpoint: I started following blue sattai because he started out doing budget reviews: He’d talk about the movie, then spend a significant amount of time talking about the cost to make, what it sold for, etc. I find that fascinating (and a lot of times in Kollywood it’s way more fascinating than the movie itself).

Agree with the statement, but I have ‘and also’…ie., it’s good to know about the business aspect also but without getting awestruck by the ginormous numbers being thrown at the audience…’costliest car’ to ‘most expensive cg’ to ‘most expensive actors’ etc etc..
