An unexpected guest 😀. Looking forward to the interview.
A related question BR. Did this interview happen at your location? I remember Vijay Antony mentioning in an interview that he visited Kiruthiga Udhayanidhi to listen to the story of Kaali. The reason being, he would have found it difficult to say “No” to someone who had come to his place to narrate a story. I find that view interesting. The promo made me wonder where the interview would have taken place.

He sounds one of those grounded, logical,matter-of-fact persons with clarity in thoughts. I would think he would find more success in direction (with/ without the writing part) as a career.. But then, let him give a few money spinners and make hay..

Great to see a guy who is honest enough to admit his insecurities and vulnerabilities . He seems very self aware regarding his weaknesses as a musician and an actor and his methods for overcoming them. There is nothing wrong in making his performance and dubbing better by sitting on editing sessions. Even Hollywood stars like Tom cruise does it.
His reasons for branching out are very pragmatic. I don’t find him any worse than Ajith & co. as far as acting is concerned. And thimiru pudichavan is hundred times better than the crap Ajith and Vijay are churning out. Hopefully he won’t end up as another T. Rajinder.

Thimiru Pudichavan is a classic! Sad that BR sir didn’t discuss it with Vijay Antony… A word of encouragement about the movie might have given him the motivation to do more such projects in the future… Also, his theory about people not always having the right actor-like emotional expressions on their faces while dealing with a situation in real life is on point… I might be happy/sad/angry but it need not show on my face exactly how I’m feeling. Same goes for body language and how people react to certain situations… How people react internally can be predicted but how it would show on their face, body, actions etc varies from person to person…
But I’m disappointed in my thalaivar Vijay Antony cause he has decided to associate with me too accused Action King… Maybe the project was locked before the accusation happened…
Action King was the brand ambassador of Ramraj but I haven’t seen his face on any of their products or in any of their showrooms post the accusation. Maybe the contract expired around the same time and I’m giving them too much credit. Action King is endorsing Uathayam now…

One of the best interviews BR has done, more so because of the humble & honest responses from VA.. Thank you both!

Nice interview BR.
I wonder if Vijay Antony knows too much of himself that he fronts his self with a facade. It feels like it’s difficult to know the real Vijay Antony.
