Nice interview BR. Thanks.
Did you get a chance to read the the English translation of Vekkai, that you mentioned in the interview? Would you recommend it?

Stumbled upon this fantastic interview of Vetrimaaran’s mother:
Really enjoyed this mature lady’s speech. She also tells about Vetrimaaran as a child. Turns out Vetri was a shy, quiet kid who has a sister and was/is a mama’s boy. That’s why his heroes have a terrific bond with their mothers. Interestingly, Kasthuri Raja himself admits that both Dhanush and Selvaraghavan have always had a terrific relationship with their mother, while his relationship with them has often been strained. Now, Vetrimaaran and Selvaraghavan have said that Mani Ratnam is their top 2/favourite filmmaker (respectively) who has inspired them to make a career in cinema. But, they have never said what their favourite Mani Ratnam movie is, but I believe they watched it on a really hot summer day.
