“As the name suggests, Untangled shall aim at untangling all the bits and pieces that go into the making of an artist and the human behind the artist. The show is divided into three sections – Inception, Assembly Line and Harvest. Untangled chats with the National Award winning film critic Baradwaj Rangan in the 8th episode. Baradwaj shares his journey from studying chemical engineering at BITS Pilani to days in advertising to landing up a job at The New Sunday Express as a film critic. He also shares insights on how to watch a film, books and movies to consume in the lockdown and the necessity to appreciate all kinds of cinema by understanding their contexts.”

To be honest, interviews like these offer much more perspective than the overpriced film reviewing courses on FC.

BR:. The book you held up is less than Rs.300 in Kindle. It is about Rs.7000 in hardback. In the beginning you implied that these books are difficult to get hold of. Special interest books coming so cheap is a great boon in this era.

This is an excellent interview.
It initially seemed a bit awkward, but from 4:04, it starts getting really interesting.
Best to watch from 8:04. The way it has been structured after that and the way it flows till the end, it is really impressive.
