The first collaboration between Shekhar and ARR was Bombay dreams, Shekhar was a producer on that show.
Their second collaboration was Elizabeth: Golden age. ARR’s score for the film was heavily criticized, though later, i think one of the themes from the film was used in Man of Steel.
Kapur made just 3 hindi films, though he left more than a dozen film in the middle of their production. some like “Time Machine” are still incomplete. And i think he made about 3 (or is it 4) Hollywood films, though again his name was attached to a dozen films which never got made, including Paani. I wonder how he makes a living these days.
I didn’t know what vibe I would get from this interview (duos are always difficult) but as it went along I began enjoying myself. That bit about ARR killing Shekhar’s acting career was LOL.

The moment I saw Shekhar Kapoor in the title, my interest waned. He has not done anything of note for more than a decade now
