Spoilers ahead…
Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the villain, a magician named Laila. The actor has a lot of fun with this part, which is tailor-made for hamming.
Eight years after the first Heropanti, which introduced Tiger Shroff to the world, we get a sequel. The cast consists of Tiger Shroff, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Tara Sutaria, and Tiger Shroff’s buttocks. No, really. I think director Ahmed Khan thought that his hero’s biceps had been exposed enough, so why not aim lower, like the rest of the film! So we have a plot point where we wait with bated breath for the revelation about a mole on Tiger’s butt. A little later, Tiger is shot in the same area. The extraction of the bullet happens in a… veterinary hospital. To each, their own. Arse you like it!

Is it just me or is the humour and the no holds quotients back with a bang in your reviews BR?
Your FC reviews for the good movies were always stellar but reviews like this I don’t remember reading as many, or is that some weird confirmation bias on my part?
Absolutely loved this and the Highway Ajay Devgun review

The only aspect I was even remotely interested in was AR Rahman’s music. If Ahmed Khan and Rahman weren’t close friends, there is no way he would have done this.
Thankfully, he is still collaborating with filmmakers that surely deserve his time and effort (like Mari Selvaraj and Parthiban). Even if those films don’t work, they will make for far more interesting conversations than movies like Heropanti 2.

Parthiban is directing another film? And, that would be scored by Rahman? Seems, there’s no stopping him and his Oscar dream. 🙂

Hilarious. Looks like Tiger Shroff, like Kim Kardashian, has completely run out of body portions to expose. we’ve seen it all. Also, why these films are named 2 and 3 after a previous film is perplexing. This one has no elation to the original heropanti, just like those Baaghi films. Tiger 15 or tiger 25 are more apt tiles for these films.

Perhaps they’ve could’ve been “brief” with the title instead of getting convoluted with ‘Hero “panti” 2’ (maybe for numerlogical reasons).

BR, very enjoyable review. But while reading the review, it felt that the movie was somewhat better than what was suggested in the title header. Especially, review points out things like the movie getting the tone right in some places and so on which gave a feeling that this is of somewhat watchable level (like a below average to average movie) , but initially seeing the header got an impression that this an out and out crap (except some decently choreographed stunt scenes which is Tiger Shroff’s strong point anyway).

That’s some Butter you’ve put on the review to cover how Butt-hurt you’re for being made to watch Tiger Shroff’s butt.

BR suffers a head ‘butt’. But, seriously, can’t they go for the Bond vibes more sincerely? Tiger Shroff may not be a performer per se, but he has his set of audience who might enjoy watching him act in a Desi Bond movie – only if that was written with some sincerity.
