This is the most satisfying interview I have watched in recent times.

Thank you, Kay. To travel to the village, to try out with new way of shooting with the team, the interview itself and then the way it was edited — this is one of the most beautiful interview experiences I have had. Sometimes, you just have to do things for the love of cinema, and I am grateful the company allows that 🙂

Brangan: I think you’ve become a really fine interviewer but this one brought me out of my lurker cocoon. It felt as if it were part of the outtakes of one Rima’s lovely films. The most buzz on your blog centers around big commercial films and hot button issues but I hope you can keep sharing little gems like this one. I really enjoyed it and will look to catch Rima’s next film.

BR,
This review is a film in itself. Please continue experimenting with this format, the moments where you were holding the little girl’s hand towards the end of the interview absolutely melted my heart, you seemed so at ease.

Aisha – Yes. It was really heartwarming and my favourite part of the interview.
Also as Maru mentioned, this did seem like a scene out of one of Rima’s movies. Unhurried, not so much an interview as a conversation between two friends. I’m glad Galatta is giving the space for such experiments.
