I would still keep my expectations in check though, given how Ranjith handled Winston Chao in Kabali. But this film should cause some interesting discussions, as Ranjith’s ideologies and sensibilities would clash hard with that of Rajamouli’s, despite this film and RRR having an anti-colonial theme at their heart. The real “Fire vs Water”, maybe?

Never knew such a film was in the making. After this interview, I went and watched the title announcement video. It looks epic. Sad that it doesnt have much views.I have watched and loved ranjiths’ madras. Am putting in high hopes on this film. High time someone showed locals dressed only in a loin cloth like they used to in those times. Vikram made me believe that he belonged to those times.
